To the nose
The blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec reveals aromas of red fruits, blackcurrant and delicately woody notes on the nose.
In the mouth
The dominant Merlot in the blend brings roundness and supple tannins on the palate, thus offering a wine of just intensity even in its first years.
Cabernet Franc
The wines from Cabernet Franc are medium in color with fine tannins, subtle aromas of red berries and spices. It produces fruity wines that can be drunk young but the great vintages of which can be kept for a long time.
Malbec
It is present on less than 2% of the total area with a predominance on the right bank and especially in Bourgeais / Blayais. It brings color and mellowness during assembly and gives very fruity, colorful wines rich in tannins.
Merlot
Merlot brings suppleness and aromas to Bordeaux red wines. Dark and dense in color, with aromas of red and black fruits and a superb aromatic palette, Merlot transforms during aging to give way to notes of prunes, undergrowth and spices. On the palate, it is supple with distinguished tannins.
